Needing to replace my old desk chair -- and acknowledging my advancing years -- I decided to find out what was the least expensive chair to offer blissful, sit-all-day comfort.After plopping down on every name ergonomic chair you've ever heard of (Leap, Freedom, etc.), I pronounced the Mirra the clear winner.(The Aeron is remarkably comfortable too, but more expensive.)I bought a loaded Mirra and have been very satisfied, with one little quibble for which I have deducted a star.That is, the two screws holding the chair's back to the base worked themselves loose after a few months of use.I consider this unacceptable in a $700 chair and caution all purchasers not to throw out the hex wrench Herman Miller gives you to tighten the screws.I have now tried applying some Threadlocker Blue liquid to the screws and hope this will solve the problem.I also think Herman Miller shouldn't charge a $150 premium over the basic model for the privilege of adjustable lumbar support.

High Back Mesh Ergonomic Task Chair with Adjustable Arms [BT-6001-BEBK-GG] Review

I just received this chair in the mail today and am really happy with my purchase.Instructions to put together were a little vague but only took about 15 min altogether.I like how every piece is completely adjustable. The tilt for the bottom and back are smooth and easy to lock in to place.Not sure how it is for comfort yet but I'll repost after my ten hour shift tomorrow.

Update 12/31: I have now had this chair for just over a week and use it every day for work.I would still say this is one great investment.After working 10 hours a day, it is still comfortable and I don't find myself needed to adjust very often.The ability to change the angles and the back as well as the bottom also help.

Black Leather High Back Executive Office Chair [BT-9088-BK-GG] Review

I was unsure about buying this chair because I normally don't buy furnitures online. But after I made a decision and bought this, I was very satisfied. The Build quality, material, comfort everything was good except one of the screw that goes into the arm rest was kinda stiff and hard to get it out. But I managed after 10 minutes fighting for it. Easy installation(Only took me 15 minutes to assemble to one piece). The chair is very very comfortable and the leather feels so nice. I'm sitting on it right now. :D
I highly recommand this product to anyone who needs a decent office leather chair.
Can't beat this price! Great purchase :)

The item does not assemble well and is not leather. I ordered it brown and they sent me black. The overall quality is not that great. I would have rather paid more and gotten leather. I also think that they should note that it is synthetic.

The chair is amazing and helps alleviate a lot of back pain caused from desk work. Herman Miller is definitely the best ergonomic designer and manufacturer of chairs.

There is no difference between this chair and the aluminum one other than materials for aesthetic appeal. They function the EXACT same way but you pay more for "metal" versus graphite. The better value is this one, the graphite classic.

A plus is this company VitalityWeb (aka BACKSTORE from Amazon). Shipped fast, shipped in perfect condition, brand new... These chairs are NOT supposed to come pre-assembled -- if you buy one that does, then it is a USED chair or a floor model. If it is NOT assembled, double-check and look for a paper tag that should be on the seat height lever. It will be impossible to remove this paper tag without RIPPING it (and no way to put it on unless you were the one building it prior to installing the lever). If there is no Herman Miller paper/tag attached, it is USED.

Ergo Value Mesh Medium Back Task Chair Review

I checked out all 46 reviews for this chair on [...] where it received 4.7 out of 5.. And that was the best of any chair in this price range with these features. Some of the reviews talked about the lack of really good, detailed and written assembly notes. And I would agree with that but if you just take your time you can get it. There really is just a limited number of parts. It took me about 1/2 hour and that's because I initially assembled the arms upside down - not very functional. Anyway, once it was together it was a dream to sit on. My back's been bothering me lately and I attribute some of that to the lack of decent padding on my chair. This one is sweet - nice firm padding in the seat and my back is a happy back now. Regarding the assembly: just lay out the parts - the bolts, washers, etc in an orderly way and proceed slowly one step at a time. I decided to buy this from Amazon rather than [...] even though it was about $10 more at Amazon. I've had nothing but good transactions at Amazon and besides, shipping was free.

This was an excellent all-around purchase.The price couldn't be beat, and the package came the exact day it was supposed to.The chair was extremely easy to put together, it took me all of 15 minutes.I would say that even the mechanically challenged person could put this together in a half hour.

Ergonomic Office Chair - High Back Mesh Contemporary Executive Swivel Chair - BT-6001-GYBK-GG Review

At 6'2" it's not all that easy to find an office chair with adequate support but this one aces it. The height of the back piece is adjustable as well as how far back it leans (think like a car seat), the arm rests move up as well as out and most importantly the seat height is perfect for long legs. The only complaint I could have is the arm rests aren't very well padded but that only comes into play when not using my keyboard/mouse which isn't often while at my desk. Overall I would recommend this chair to anyone wishing to buy one, the construction is sturdy and the features are wonderful. Oh, and it's VERY comfortable!
