This is a handsome chair that is also quite comfortable. The price is astoundingly low. The leather (yes, leather) is black pebble grain. The photo makes it look smoother and shinier than the actual chair. The assembly takes a bit of wrestling. Do not follow the order of assembly in the instructions. First get the back inserted in the arms, then slide in the seat and steel tube supports. Significant pressure is required to get the screw holes to line up.
