This chair is excellent for typing. I use it all day in front of my computer. Other chairs hurt my lower back, but this one helps me maintain proper posture. I love it. Very confortable for long tasks. The armless design means that I can slip in and out of the chair without pulling it out from under the desk. It's not bouncy even though it doesn't have back legs. But, the seat is 19 inches off the ground. You may want to pick up a foot rest if you are short. Works well on carpet. Slides easily and distributes the weight on a wide area.
