Be careful with children around this table.If they undo the adjustment knob completely, the table base ceases to be adjustable height.The directions warn not to remove the knob, but if it gets removed; the only way to use the table from then on is to remove the telescoping rod with spring and turn it into a stationary drafting table.You loose the height adjustability.
When the company was contacted, they say there is no fix; but they warned you to not remove the knob. There ends their accountability.
So watch children around the table.
I would not buy the table base again.When accidentally removing an adjustment knob while adjusting the table height means the table becomes fixed height...
poorly constructed because i'm sure many user's have had the knob/s removed accidentally.
