This is a well made and solid item.Having said that, there are a couple of things you should consider before you purchase this mat.First, it is 3/4" high and could possibly be in the way of a door on a desk unit.You'll end up removing the door as we did.Second, it may cause the arms on a desk chair to hit a slide out keyboard shelf on a desk unit.
Again, this is a quality product.We are very satisfied with it after buying numerous plastic chair mats over the years.Just make sure it will fit in your application.
