Poor design tends to tip forward. The cushions are too close together and angled wrong. The knee pad is too far under the upper pad. An adverage 5'5" woman's knees jutt out beyond the top of the bottom cushion placing the balance too far forward. The rubber bushings under the knee pad make the forward slide worse. I was not able to get into proper alignment or balance in this chair. I owned and loved a kneeling chair prior to this one (wore it out), no problems. This one is very poorly designed. Returning it is a problem, as it can not be pulled back apart without damaging it.
